Audioslave’s Revelations, Not As Strong As Three Albums Before

In the end, I found the album. I bought it at Pondok Indah Mall I, last Saturday (28/7). I’m waiting for it so long. Finally, I complete Audioslave collections. I had self-titled Audioslave, Out of Exile, Live in Cuba, and then, tada… Revelations.

But I’m a lil bit disappointed because the contents is not as good as the three before. I don’t hear energetic song such as Cochise, great ballads like Like a Stone or The Curse or Heaven’s Dead, or just relaxing Doesn’t Remind Me.

May be each of the personels has his own business. Guitarist Tom Morello have just complete his solo project, and so have the vox Chris Cornell. Chris sings James Bond Casino Royale (remake) soundtrack.

But, one thing that make me disappointed is the band’s future. The band is vacuum. Tom, Tim Commerford (bassist), and Brad Wilk (drummer) reunite with Zach de la Rocha, reactivate their former band, Rage Against The Machine (RATM). Well, I’m glad the politic band comes back in one side. But, in the other side, I’m sad, Audioslave is threatened will be gone. So, Tom, Tim, Brad, and Chriss, just reconsider defending the group…
